As implied in my last deviation, something really sad had happened. Khalliysgraphy s dog Sammy died last week at the age of 14. I first met him when I was 16 and he was 6 years old. He was the little funny and cute doggy, I always called him "little sausage rat" (in German "kleine Wurstratte") and I loved him for being such a patient, taut animal. When our girls group met at Khalliys house, he always was there and we had so much fun. There are still a lot of hilarious situations with him in my mind. Being there without him felt weird. And Khalliys and I talked just one week before he died about him, his old age but good health ... few days later, we knew he was very ill and some days more, he was dead. Sometimes fate hits so hard.
Last Wednesday noon Khalliys told me, that he will be put to sleep this evening at 6 pm. When the time had come, I was in my rescue dog training with Tokala, being one of the persons who had to be found by the dogs. So I sat alone on a meadow, watching the sun getting down, having the song above in my mind crying. Even though I wasn't there with Khalliys, Sammy and her familiy, I felt like letting a little soul go. Afterwards I went through old pics finding this one perfectly fitting to the song. It's not my best photo and it's quite old (from 2012), but there are now so much emotions in me looking at it and so it is my Goodbye to this little great heart.
