Um. I'm not too sure that quote goes with the piece too well.
It was a bit of an experiment, But this was fun. I also had a lot of inspiration from many different artists. So I wouldn't really know where to start by listing off names.
So I guess I'll just leave it up for you to enjoy. Much love.
Edit: A did a lot of stuff to it. I'm not sure if this is any better then what I had before... if anything... it's probably worse. But I added texture to the girl, removed a sunflower, and sharpened the image up. Oh and curves too. I dunno. *shrugs*

I'm really not capable of doing any manipulations at all, and the thing I love so much of yours is the number of elements that you merge together to achieve the overall effect you gain. Every layer seem to merge perfectly with the others, not only blending with tones and shapes, but also with meanings and emotions!

The rainbow seems to bring some things together. It keep my eyes looking around and doesn't let anything be a distraction. The whole thing is smooth, it all flows together.

In my opinion, the person does not look awkard at all, the sunflowers do (except the one where her hands are bound). Also, it would be nice to see the ladies head a little lighter so you can see some details...overall this is a nicely put together piece and I love it

You and your sunflowers.
This looks really pretty, hun. I agree with most of what Dan has said... but I have something else to add. You see that little sunflower on the tree on the left? It's exactly the same as the one on the right... or it is to my eyes, which aren't known to be the most observant. 
It's all personal preference though and it really does look good the way you have it. Kudos on a pretty image, hun.

Really.. your eyes do not fool you. That sunflower is a duplicate. But honestly I hadn't noticed until you said something about it.
As for your limbs idea... ZOMG. THAT SOUNDS SO COOL... But I have no idea how I would even pull it off to make it fit into the piece. But who know, I just may have a go at that as well.
