That bottom bird is looking rather freaked out. "ZOMG there's branches growing out of my skull! GAH!
Other than that though, amazing detail. I can't wait to see it in color.

I'm excited to see the colors on this! The lower bird reminds me of an osprey. Out of curiosity, do you erase the pencil lines as you paint or do you go ahead and paint over them?

I usually paint over them, unless it's a light area with fine detail. Then I'll erase them mostly.

So, you know the pictures where you see the inside of the wing with the outside of the primaries? Is that anotomically possible??

Hahah I was about to say! Yes, bird wings can flex in such a way where you can see the inner wing but also the outer primaries.
