Ommmg, I just love the pose for the first bird! Would you mind if I use this as a reference? I am still practicing bird anatomy and the pose is just so great ;3; I would give you full credit... (?) if not, it's totally fine! Love the painting though

That bottom bird is looking rather freaked out. "ZOMG there's branches growing out of my skull! GAH!

I'm excited to see the colors on this! The lower bird reminds me of an osprey. Out of curiosity, do you erase the pencil lines as you paint or do you go ahead and paint over them?

I usually paint over them, unless it's a light area with fine detail. Then I'll erase them mostly.

Hahah I was about to say! Yes, bird wings can flex in such a way where you can see the inner wing but also the outer primaries.
