Description
As promised, the partner piece to The Acorn King , here is The Willow Queen.These two pieces will be displayed side by side at MileHiCon in Denver.
Acrylic and colored pencil on green matboard, about 2X10 inches.

waaa, nice! the theme would be more powerful if you add fictional willow ornament around the queen (like the king's necklace; and a majestic aura with runic symbol, sth like that).

err, when i was writing the comment, i was thinking about the royal family of the tarot deck: king, queen, page (prince), and knight. but, your question reminds me of a card game - castle. the game introduces lots of characters living around a castle (if you're interested, you could find the inhabitant list from this file - [link] ). if you have time, it must be fun to recreate the deck.
