It is a very nice idea. I like how while reading you skip from side to side and find thoughts that are similar but not completely the same. That strengthens the idea of a strong link between the two persons.
The only thing that really threw me off track was the line "to the love I should have gave" because of the grammar mistake. Sure, "given" wouldn't have rhymed but maybe you can find an alternative there to avoid the grammar problem. There is quite a long list with rhyming words to "wave" here: www.rhymezone.com/r/rhyme.cgi?β¦ Maybe you find something you like as well
Otherwise a really great read and an interesting idea!

Wonderfully written and fitting for so many of us in the world who have come face to face with the tragedy of a lost choice. Tragic in the Greek sense that most often one little decision, one moment of honesty could have would have made for a better outcome.

I can't find THE word to describe how I feel after reading this xD it's so damn frustrating you can't imagine QAQ so it was sad for sure but also so real... I dunno. I felt like it could happen to anybody and it hurted me >3<
