I really like your choice of colors, the loose feel to your lines, and that big yellow eye-the eye especially gives it an approachable, cuddlier feel. My only critique is his striping, I can't decide if they're too close,too numerous or oddly placed along the body, but it makes the picture look a little too busy. My favorite detail is the darker blue on the tips of his wings and how even though his feet and talons have a lot of close detail and look more realistic, they don't take away from his approachability. Overall, very well done, I like it a lot.
