I just couldn't resist doing this one after perusing the gallery at *cvsw-stock and seeing this photo - [link] . By now most people should know that I adore the character, Kagura, and that I especially love how she looked in the final episodes of Inuyasha, after being fished out of the river by Sesshoumaru. Her hair had fallen out of its usual topknot and dangled in what looked like a side ponytale. Of course, she was also topless, since her kimono had been ruined (she really is hard on clothes). Given the later developments regarding Kagura and Sesshoumaru, I found myself thinking that "if only" Sesshoumaru had acted then, perhaps things would be different. Here she clutches Sesshoumaru's mokomoko (aka the Fluff).

Lineart by me, based partly off the pose in [link] and a screencap of Kagura from episode 167 of Inuyasha. Scanned and colored on my MacIntosh OS9.1 with Photoshop 4.0, using a mouse. Background is a random photo found on the internet - blooming sakura trees - that I blurred using several filters. Those who have read chapter 374 of the manga should get the connection.
