Description
This is an oilpainting I made for school from a picture I found. The idea was use impressionist technique: trying to paint forms without detailing them and by using pure colors. For example, using pink, white or yellow in lightning.It's not easy to learn immediatly, but when you get the idea it's actually enjoyable. It feels more freeform. Besides, impressionist landscapes look fantastic.

xD lol I really like the technique you were supposed to use, and it's really nice on the eyes with the colours & softness. I like the cat's face >u< It almost looks like he is stuffed.
