Interestingly, the latest Transformers film is being praised as the closest thing
to a one, TRUE Transformers film that the '86 film is.
..and, it isn't even called "Transformers", but "BumbleBee"
and, Michael Bay wasn't anywhere near it, either.
(Probably also helps that the film was set in the 1980s this time, too.)

This kicks real ass...Β It's also a pretty perfect way to describe bayformer films now that Transformers 5 is announced.Β Let us all gather our dark energon,Β poison the poorly-CG stale mess and roam the infinite galaxies!

Well, Bay has pretty much doomed his universe since they no longer have the Matrix or the Allspark.
Animated in my opinion needed to be what became popular for the new generation of Transformers. Best thing since Beast Wars.

You still have much to learn. The Cube was merely a vessel. Its power and knowledge can never be destroyed.

...how not? The Cube is a physical structure. It most certainly was destroyed.

But the power inside was released, and absorbed into the mind of the young man named Samuel J. Witwicky.

....how? He's not a Cybertronian in the slightest and he wasn't even hit by the energy. Megatron was.

I'm guessing the radiation from the Cube carried with it the power of the AllSpark.
