Went back home over the weekend. One day I found myself sans one kitty. I did a
"CAT Scan" all over the house and even around the neighborhood. I don't know what possesed me to look in the washing machine but ... 
there he was! 
I'm glad I didn't try to start a load of wash. That may have been quite messy. Question for you cat owners out there: Have you ever started up the washer with your cat inside? If so, what was the result?

If they somehow don't drown while being washed, I imagine the force of the spin cycle would be lethal to any pets unfortunate enough to get caught in there.

My aunt has started the drier with her cat inside - and it was in there for about a minute before she realized what that clunking sound was. That cat was rather fluffy, but fine. ;]
