Personality : She's the silent type, she feels things are better expressed threw actions rather then words. so thus she says very, VERY little and never seems to make many expressions.
In truth Kazu is a rather distant person. She tends to go off to wars or battles often and fears becoming close to risk hurting people. So she tends to keep greatly to her self and is seen more often alone. She feels like the only and best way to protect the people close to her is by in fact NOT being close to them.

History: Kazu was raised solely by her father after her mother passed away when she was young, He was a warrior and had no clue as to how to raise a child, especially a girl. so he raised her as a boy. Thus why she binds and dresses as a male. the robe she wears belonged to her father, who gave it to her when he dissapeared. She wondered for a time as a samurai for hire, fighting battle and such, until coming to settle for the time in steel cave were she served as a guard until being called away to fight in wars and has returned to find the villages and such have changed.

Additional info:
She manly uses her legs and feet for fighting, though her weapon is a Naginata. She dresses malish but doesent really act like either gender. Almost always getting confused for a male. She just doesent find the need to correct anyone when they call her a "he".

- Underneath her armored headband is a scare on her forehead where her horn was taken off in accident during a training exercise. Shes a bit ashamed of it so normally always wears her headband.

- she doesent drink because at the point where shes truly drunk she becomes "evil kazu" and destroys,fights,everyone and everything in sight. And never remembers any of it.

her older cousin is Miyuki Izumi, a nintails.Their fathers were brothers, But kazu's father, Hidenori Shindo, disowned Miyu's father because in Hidenori eyes he was weak, bringing shame to the family's name and their samurai heritage.
