It's official - I can't draw guys, even if my life depended on it. Especially while trying to make them bear at least slight resemblance to the actual character. I failed miserably.
I'm tired and annoyed trying to fix this picture, so there you go.
Anyways, he's really young and sad.
You may ask, why the pastel sky? Because it's pretty!
No. I'm just sick of all that blood red sky other people always put for Itachi, so I wanted something different. Besides, it's a good contrast between the mood in the nature and his own mood.#2 pencil

the baranches on the tree could use a little more work.. try using a reference from photos or an actual tree
other than that the actual character looks amazing! And the sky is beautifuly drawn and colored! I'd have to say the eyes and lips impressed me the most considering this is crayon (not an easy media)

Actually I did use a reference for the tree, but I wasn't trying to replicate it exactly, a stylized version was enough.

Thanks! I aimed to make a contrast between the sky and character's mood, so it would stand out more. And the sky is pretty anyway.

Thank you for the watch! To tell the truth, Itachi was never one of my favorites, but he has the best developed back-story, very tragic, a lot of information to work on, that's why I picked him to write a fanfic about.
