You know I've recently been very annoyed with all those "I HATE 'Thanks for the
!' All messages like that will be hidden". D: I mean come on! I find it really nice if someone comments like that to me. I mean, I don't do it, but I get tons of s and don't have the time to tell people that. Still, I like 'Thanks for the !' Don't say nay to them.Stamp template © ~Cenakuu

I'm not a fan of them per-say, but I don't hide them or have a fit at the commenter. I usually don't respond though, the obvious has to stop at some point. That's why I'm not a fan, of course they appreciate the

I've run across about 4 people on here that are adamant that they are NOT thanked for comments, Faves or Watches. They contend that repeated thanking spams up their pages. ITO.
When I come across a user's page and they say not to thank them, I respect their right to say so.

Really? I never found anyone complaining that they were not thanked for favs, watches, or comments. I just find it annoying when people say that they don't want people saying thanks. I mean, I don't care if you do, I'll reply if you do, but just bugs me when people hate it. Though you have to respect them if they do say it. If you get what I mean.

I go on others' pages and see just threads of Thank yous with no replies. Which doesn't mean that the artist doesn't appreciate the thanking. 
Two non-thank holdouts were...leave-me-alone types. One got the hell spammed out of him for his DevID which said, simply "Do NOT thank me for ANYTHING!"
Trolls and smartasses being what/who they ARE, could not resist the "invitation"....some people got banned over that. One was a good friend who should've KNOWN better.
But when I see something like that, I'll thank them in another way. Or just not say anything. If that's how they feel, who am I to judge?
