Description It's Morgan's birthday today!

I could only start it last Friday because I was clammed up with final papers and projects last week. As a result I didn't have time to shade properly, so I tried experimenting with the brushes again. I don't know how messy it looks, but I need to stop working on this and study for finals.

I think this experiment turned out quite well :d Love the colour choices and the shading even if it's light...seems more pronounced here as well

That's a relief. Still, all I did was use a grayish color on a separate layer that was set on Multiply. There's probably a lot more techniques that I should be looking into.

Really ahhh XD well yes there are plenty more ways to do it :3 which includes changing the colour of the shade...you could put some blue from the sky in with the skintone...you could go with browns or purples etc. Reflect the bg colour in the skin...OR just use very dark versions of the colours in there OR use the opposite colour on the colour wheel OR play with the filters in the program and layer them up OR XD so many more options lol

Oh god, Zaria there's just so much. I guess I could try shading with something more saturated than grey (like with the browns and purples you were mentioning). The reflecting-background-color one seems interesting, though. However, wouldn't it make the character in the picture stand out less?Β

It's up to you XD I did some shading with blues in the "How you gonna' fix it" piece :3 and I mean things turn out differantly in different people's styles so XD you just try it and see if you like it or not XD find what is right for you

Thanks! I love male Morgan, but for me I just didn't like his voice. It sounded really mature while at the same time he looked very young.
