I've always wondered, how do you get that kind of... I'm not even sure to describe it, but that almost foggy kind of effect going on top of everything? Is it just the way you draw it, or is it done in post with a layer above everything or somethin'? It always looks real nice with your style.

UHMMMM foggy ... Well. I always make sure to never make the lineart black. It really affects the piece as a whole, and in this one's case I made the lineart a grey-green to match the background. Since the character is in a green environment, I took their ref (on a separate canvas) and used a multiply layer of green over it to see what their colors would look like in the environment. I do that with all my strange environment pictures. It helps blend it in much easier than say, just using their base colors (which would stand out and contrast too much)
