CLICK DOWNLOADI'm just uploading the AoH character sheet template again so I am able to make edits to it.
What's included is a PSD file, with all the essential layers, and two PNG images, for those who can't use programs that support layers such as Photoshop, GIMP, etc.
Here is an explanation of the layers from top to bottom:
- First layer is a placeholder for your character artwork. Please hide or delete this layer and place your own artwork there. The character artwork must be between waist-up and full body.
- Text layer for your character's name. The font used is Trajan Pro.
- Text layer for your character's age and house. The font used is Georgia.
- Text layer for your character's personal quote. The font used is Georgia Italic.
- Template design and background is last. You do not need to modify these layers.
If you do not have any of the fonts mentioned above, you may use a different serif font such as Times New Roman, Palatino, Garamond, etc. If you do not have text tool (e.g. SAI), you may neatly handwrite your character's information instead. It must be legible and readable. Only handwrite if you really need to.

Okay, so, I think my "witty quote" is too long.I tried it on GIMP 2 and it didn't fit in the layer. Can I make it bigger?

you could shrink the text, or put it on two lines instead of one.

im not familiar with digital art, so would i have to print this off then draw on it?

you should draw on a blank piece of paper, scan it, and then paste the image onto the template using a digital imaging program like mspaint or photoshop. don't forget it needs to be in colour.

I've tried to download this several times, but for some reason it won't open in anything. I have both Photoshop Elements and MS Paint.

did you extract the ZIP file? (winrar, 7-zip, winzip, etc.)

you can try double clicking the file. if you have windows xp or newer, it'll open the archive in a folder. if you have an archive extracting program, it'll open in that program. or you can right click it to see what options you can use.

I tried double clicking it, but it always says that it 'cannot open because it is the wrong type of file.' I have Windows Vista, which I'm sure is newer than XP...do you know of another way of making it into a folder? I'm pretty sure I can figure it out from beyond that point.

if you want to take screenshots in Windows, press the print screen key on your keyboard, open an imaging program like Paint, go to Edit>Paste, and save it as a JPG file.
