I finally made my Flame-Light pony. The-Sheamus-MLP made a custom one for me, and I finally made art of her that you guys can use as a reference. Doesn't she just look cute? I love her so much

I co-own this species with BrowniesAndPudding and the original creator for these "Flame-Light" ponies is The-Sheamus-MLP .
Flame-Light ponies have a viewing window on their chest that shows the color of their flame, they also have a light source as a tail instead of having a normal tail.

All of this was hand made, no tracing what so ever. This is the image I based it off of: Flitter

THESE ARE A CLOSED SPECIES!!! That means you are NOT allowed to make one yourself. You can get a custom from either myself, BrowniesAndPudding , or The-Sheamus-MLP . Alternately you can wait for us to make an adoptable of them and get one that way.

Personality: Sweet, very easy to befriend, caring, very shy, cautious around flames.

Likes: The color purple, flying, pegasus ponies, fire, dark places, lanterns, singing, dancing, and baking

Dislikes: Extreme winds, thunder, water, and rings of fire

Bio: As a filly Lantern Lights loved to watch daredevil ponies, she loved watching them so much that she decided to practice and become one too. Having wings gave her an advantage because she could do things earth ponies and unicorns couldn't do. Lantern Lights also loved fire and anything dealing with fire. With lots of practice she was able to use the wind from her wings to have multiple flames make the shape of a lantern without blowing the flame out, she loved doing this to the point that she made it a hobby of hers. She ended up become very famous because of the dangerous tricks she would do involving fire, example being she would light herself on fire and then fly around. She had been practicing tricks involving rings of fire for years and after so long Lantern Lights finally felt confident enough to try her most dangerous trick yet. A few days later it was show time and the ponies worked hard to set up multiple rings in a big loop. As Lantern Lights was getting to the final part of her show the rings were set on fire. Lantern Lights started to do her trick of flying through the entire loop, but as she got to the top of the loop she clipped her wing on one of the rings which caused her to go head first into one of the rings knocking her out. The fire from the rings was so hot that it set her on fire instantly, she was so excited for the show that she forgot to put her fire resistant suit on. When she finally hit the ground ponies rushed to her aid to put the fire out, but it was too late, the impact from the ring and the fire caused her to die before reaching the ground. It's been years after her death and she is still unsure as to how she actually died, she knows it had to do something with fire. She just wanders around watching the daredevils remembering the times when she used to be really great at it. Lantern Lights still feels really sad and can't believe that she actually died, she never thought she would die this soon. Lantern Lights is now very friendly since the accident but she is very cautious when it comes to flames because of the accident.

Summary about these species:
Flame-Light ponies are spirits of ponies that once roamed around Equestria that have past to the other side. These spirits hold a light that can help "guide" them to find out how they died and help them find peace and finally be put to rest. Others just enjoy their time to be free one last time

Some things to know about them:
-They mostly live in dark places such as the Everfree forest

-They should NEVER get water poured on them, go in water, or go in the rain, or else their flames will be extinguished.

-They use their light sources as their way of surviving and will die if it runs out or if they get water poured on them.

-Their light sources have to be re-light every 24 hours or else they will die out. If they wait too long, they will start getting weaker and dying slowly (a bit dark, but that's what I would say would happen).

-Some uncommon flame-light ponies (unicorns) are stronger in magic than others, and can even cast spells pertaining to fire. Weaker unicorns can usually only produce enough fire to light their sources.

-Some rare flame-light ponies (pegasi) are stronger fliers than others. They can fly higher and farther distances, while others can fly near the ground.

-Pegasi MUST be weary when flying, or when they fly and it's windy, because the wind will burn out their light source without them knowing.

-Some uncommon traits on flame-light ponies is their eyes being closed constantly, unable to open them. They use their sense of smell and hearing to guide them through places.

-Flame-lights CAN NOT be alicorns OR princesses.

-The light sources on their tails are ALWAYS connected to something to keep them in place, such as a string.

-Flame-Lights have different clans (ex. the Fire clan, lantern clan) but some end up accidently wandering out of the clan and getting themselves lost. That means that there are not much of 'em left.

-By the day they are shy and scared but by night they go back to their own personality

-For the uncommon Flame-Lights (unicorns with the closed eyes) it's uncommon for them to open their eyes at times. Mostly they are kept closed 24/7. (Idea suggested by Wolf427 )

-They can be bred with other ponies of their own kind!

-They don't get cutie marks!

-If the flame-light's flame/light source die out the flame-lights turn into a will-o-the-wisps. They roam aimlessly around until they find their original light source or reach a fire. Once they find their light source, or a fire, they return to their normal form.

-Can wear a skull permanently OR take 'em off at times

Uncommon traits:

-No string tail (lay on the metal coaster thing)

-Pegasi ponies

-A light source on the pony's back

-Light/pastel color

-Do not come with a light source other than fire/flames

-Actual tail but it's still the light source

Super rare traits:
-Stallions

-Different body color besides black.

-Different hoof and mane color from each other.

-No gradients.

-Different eye colors, hair colors, and flame/light colors from each other.
