when I started drawing digitaly I drew a lot of anime-ish characters, and I wanted a different style, too.. Your style will come by itself, just experiment, it's not really necessary to practice 24/7 if you try new things from time to time ;d

i am the same XD i draw to much digital and not as good on traditional. i have tried multiple time to balance the two but i always ends up focusing on digital. I decided to give it a try again and really try to commit.

Err, I did, like, more then a year ago but I kinda got busy and tired of roleplaying, dunno why. I just prefer reading fanfictions now heheh
For the tips: probably the best to do is to use reference at the beginning and meanwhile try to sometimes draw different poses by yourself until you get the hang of it. I obviously didn't go all the way to professional action poses and stuff but that worked for me until I stopped drawing wolves ;d

What fanfiction do you read ? I had a hard time drawing poses because whenever i did i could not "complete" it, or rather i did not know how to shade skin or shade the clothes and folds probably. So now i will practice on at the time starting with body parts and practising shading skin.

i read mostly manga or some of the books i have. I hate poses too but i find it easier to practice one body part at the time or focus on half the body then work my way from there.
