Yesterday night my dear old cat Wolli died after long illness. Though I will miss him terribly, I'm glad he's in no more pain now. I hope he will be reincarnated as the lean mean cool cat he always wanted to be and we'll meet again, soon. You were the best, Wolli.Related content

Thank you. Yes, I see nothing bad in death and I am happy for him that he has no more pain now and can start a new existence; the only trouble about death is that you live on and miss the dead, but more important is the wonderful time I had with him.

I lost my kitty then he was thirteen too.
It was three years ago, but I miss him so bad till now
And I still can't look at his photos without tears

Thank you! When I look at pictures of Wolli, I smile and shed a tear the same time. I guess some day I will just smile. It's a great help that I still have Wollis sister here with me. But I know what you mean; I still can't look at pictures of my mum, and she died thirteen years ago.

Yes, cats are really special. I lived with cats since I was twelve, but Wolli and Nemsi were the first who were my own and lived alone with me. I will give Nemsi some time and then find a new little companion for her. I'm sure she'll enjoy.

Cats are social creatures, so a new little friend for her might brighten her day I myself grew up with at least 2 cats in the house at any time, but at most we had 3 - those 5 years I've lived in this apartment with only two aquariums (can't have furry animals here because of allergy) and no cats, has been very silent...

Yes, I know. Kittens are so great, they have so much positive energy. We had an aquarium, too, when I was a child, and my sister and brother-in-law have a quite big one now - and eight cats, who love it.

They are so adorable - at least there are some kittens at work, playful and lovely ^_^ (I have a part time job in a stable, need cats there!) Hehehe so their cats loves them too?

When they were still kittens, they stared at the aquarium and tried to hunt the fishes, today they love to lie on it because it's so warm there. Usually Nemsi is quite a sweet cat, but if she's angry, she matches her name absolutely. Since Wolli turned out to be such a big teddy baby, I called him Wolli or Wolf (because of his howling sounds) but never Wolverine whose character's quite the opposite of his. I guess Speedy was most quick at dinner time, as Wolli tend to be.

Hehe, a very large, very heavy teddy - he could have been a bully if he had wanted to. But a nice hug, not the usual bone cracking one he can get from Sabretooth and co.
