Description
The fourth in my Ornapentacles series. The pentagram (5-pointed star) represents the five elements (earth, air, fire, water, spirit). Done for GLBT (Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender) Pride month, which of course is why it's so rainbow-y. I'm Pagan, I'm Bi, and I'm Proud! And gosh darnit, I *like* myself! (Heheheh, sorry, Sat Night Live flashback O_o ...)I toyed with the idea of putting a pink triangle in the background, but I wanted a heart instead, and wanted to stick with the rainbow colour theme ...

Fire needs Earth too -- it needs something to consume, a branch. But it's more than either of them. If you eat a carrot, do you suddenly become nothing but a carrot? No, by the time your body is done assimilating it, the carrot is not even a carrot anymore. We breathe in oxygen and out carbon dioxide -- both of which are Air. So does Fire. When Fire and Water meet, Water *becomes* Air. Whereas Earth burned by Fire is still always Earth, be it ash or melted metal or heated stone. The Elements touch and mingle, and together comprise spirit, but are still themselves (unless they are changed into something else). Your stomach and your intestines work together, as part of a greater whole, and effect each other, *need* each other to function, but are not the *same*.

Thankee ^^ Seriously, though, I don't find my muses, they find me -- often at the most inopportune times, like in the shower or when I'm half asleep. Music is my biggest trigger, though -- a snippet of lyrics can set off a whole movie in my head. The hardest thing is when each of the muses wants to work on something different, while the best, of course, is when they decide to collaborate on a project.
