I really like your fractals, too. I was very happy seeing the butterfly fractal you made for the FE-"Titia" special, I told myself "Now we're really doing something, now we're honoring her memory". It meant a lot to me you got involved in this FEw #7 so much. It's good you are here on DA and getting to know you

The feeling is mutual! I always enjoy meeting new people who share my love of fractals and it makes it even more special when they are from a different country! I work in the Office of Global Programs at a state university in Mississippi and our entire purpose is to increase global awareness and internationalization on campus. I feel I have a great head-start on that with all the interaction I do with fractalists from all over the world. It's been a wonderful artistic outlet for me and I think it just keeps getting better!

Then you'll find this interesting : I'm going back to university this february (philoposophy studies) and I've rented a room in a student home were plenty exchange students live that come from lots of different countries. I'm really excited about meeting them ! What is sometimes difficult is that I'm quite shy... I can really 'shut down' at moments simply because of shyness, even if I really want to talk with people. I'm determined to do get the best out of it, though

Show them your beautiful artwork! I'm sure it will be a great icebreaker and perhaps you can even inspire some to try fractals themselves. Are you going for a degree or just taking some classes? It will be wonderful experience for you and I'm sure you will make the most of it!

Beautiful! I really dig the highlights on the outer "petals" and the vortex at the center. Great color too.
