OK, I downloaded a free cross-stitch program and generated a cross-stitch pattern of one of my fractals, Fractal Bird of Paradise.

This is a pdf file with a picture of the finished image (preview image seen here), the cross-stitch pattern chart (in black and white) and the legend for the thread color scheme (in color).

If you do needlework, cross-stitch in particular, I would love to hear if you try this out.

Original fractal crated in Apophysis 7X v14. Cross-stitch pattern created using KG Chart LE for Cross-Stitch (freeware).
