An animated Apo fractal butterfly with Thank You. I'm trying to learn GAP, the animation package in GIMP, but it's not very user friendly and I haven't found a decent tutorial yet. So, this was animated in Adobe Image Ready. But if anyone can tell me where there is an easy tutorial for using GAP, I would be most appreciative. I don't think I understand how it works and how it makes frames. It is NOT intuitively appealing. For one thing, if I make a transparent background and I have 4 frames (mostly to make the glitter function, the butterfly will flap with just two frames), the main butterfly (with wings expanded) always shows. I don't know how to control opacity of the individual frames. Very frustrating.
