Description
A wolf that is made up completely of tiny dots. I started this about a year ago (when I started, I was using a ref, but after doing the basic 'sketch', which was basically only an outline of the head and neck because I work from the outside in, I stopped using a ref), forgot about it for a long time, and discovered it and started working on it again, and now it's finally finished!
I wanted to try pointillism, or stippling, because I thought it could be a quick fun thing to do...I was wrong, lol. It was fun, but I lost patience at times because it took so much time to actually make any progress, anyway, I love how this ended up coming out! I like the head a lot, and I kind of like the neck, but I don't really love the neck fur, it's not as realistic 
. I wanted to finish it and get some art posted for you guys before I leave for a week, so here it is! So yeah, anyways, hope you like it!Time: Many hours....

Stippling is so awesome, but I agree that it is such a pain to do. Why must pretty things be so tedious to make?
I made a fish this way once and it turned out a lot better than a similar fish done with hatching.

i know how you feel i did a pointillism wolf too! it took sooooo long and it was horrible just staring at that thing all day!! a wise man once told me, when doing pointillism.... TURN ON A MOVIE! he was right because i started another one, and it is so much easier to watch a movie while dotting the page... ^_^" (come to think of it i should post that!) anyways, I LOVE your Beautiful work, and I really appreciate it, after having to slave over a piece of paper for soooooo long! BEAUTIFUL!<3

Art is a language any age can speak... (gum, lines, shapes, etc) Art is a way to let emotions flow freely from a pencil or pen... Art is a buddy that says hey! lets make something! Art is a special culture to all people of the world. Art... is the way we live, walk, talk,... breath!... no matter how weird or epic.. art is art and people everywhere should discover that in their own way... don't be afraid to explore outside your comfort zone don't be afraid to show yourself don't be afraid to cross your lines your dot your paper don't be afraid to live! Some people believe art is just pictures... but Art is passion, believing, and time... everyone here devotes their own time to show everyone else what they have to show the world, what bugs them, and most importantly.. they do it because they want to get our attention for future success.. so if your just browsing, living, or walking take time to enjoy art life gives you ^^
