"The Great Locomotive Chase" -1956

Taking place during the civil war, we see a group of union soldiers steal a train and along their way tear up the tracks to sabotage the confederate army. Thus we get a locomotive chase. I feel the best part of this movie is the main actor, Fess Parker who also played Davy Crockett as well as a few other miscellaneous characters. He is very one of a kind. But unfortunately, the movie had a very anticlimactic ending…

There was a cool scene where Fess’s character and another main guy stood on top of the train. I thought that was cool, so I took inspiration from that. I decided to blur the background behind the train and that gave a nice effect of motion.

Fun fact: This movie is based on a real events!
