This is my last artwork for this year!The lion's enjoying the feast of fireworks - and well... brings with him the rat. According to the Chinese Zodiac, 2008 is the Year of the Rat, and the Rat is Earth elemental. I used the lion to represent the "earth" part. XD

Heh, he would've looked cute in a diaper, top hat and New Year 2008 sash instead of what he's wearing. The fireworks effect is a great touch to it all. Earth and strength to the lion's symbolism.
