i dont remember exactly what he said but he definately enjoyed your gallery, one that I remember him particularly liking was of the painting of the person peering out a window, they are sillouheted in black, we both loved that one

this is really , beautifull, the emtotions just drip of my screen, the blue, white colors gives this picture a cold and sort of creepy touch, but then there is that bright light starting to shine on those two people and that , gives hope.. beautiful ..wish I was good at acryls..too bad they are so expensive..

yeah, oils are really expensive. you can get some fairly decent student quality oils for pretty cheap, but you do loose a lot of quality. try getting a set of those and just experimenting.
thanks for looking! i really appreciate your impression.
cheers

Fantastic, there have been quite a few that I have wanted to comment on in your gallery.
This one drew the short straw.

Are you by any chance a fan of the roleplaying game Changeling by White Wolf Games?

thanks!
yeah, i used to play changeling when i was in highschool. if you are referring to my name (wolfpooka), i picked it partially because of that game, but mostly because i have always loved pookas, since i was a tiny little tot. pookas are wonderful, tricky little faeries and i would love to be one/meet one!!

This is amazing....wow
new fav. the way you worked the light and darks and even the composition its exciting and unique. i esp love how the only warm light comes from the nurturing comforting woman/girl . it does feel 'safe' in there but with the dark blues it almost seems like everything else isnt.

I really like the whole lighting/colouring scheme you used in this piece. It does a good job of showing the suffering the individuals are going through. Great work!

Very beautiful and quiet piece, Ms. Wolfpooka. The colors and shading are spot on. But most moving and vibrant are the feelings that come through. Congratulations. Can't wait to see it in person.

wow, nice work! There is so much depth in this...you can really feel the distance between her feet and the wall, and her body just draws you back...
beautiful texture with your paint too, and I love that harsh shadow..
