Personality: A teenager with a somewhat dry sense of humor and a sincere love for mediums. Yukito is slow to adapt to things due to a cautious personality, but he can still adapt. He is usually respectful of others, though he doesn't seem to have much empathy and can seem aloof most of the time. Often due to his cautious nature he tries to avoid conflict until it proves to be futile. Yukito tends to run on intuition to get by in his teenage years.

Naturally curious to the point of zeroing in on anything he finds neat, Yukito is a lonely kid who wouldn't mind friends. Despite being quite gentle and a little easygoing, he can get jealous of others. He has a short attention span and tends to get a little sidetracked by things.
Backstory: Yukito's father disappeared in a mysterious accident when he was a child, and though she wasn't abusive his relationship with his mother had strained since he was eight. With her being on the move and not really caring much about him anyways, Yukito usually lives with his aunt and uncle. Since the two worked at a police station, he was usually raised in their household and their jobs inspired a love of investigation in them. As he grew up, his mother ended up picking him up later and later- he wouldn't see her for months on end at latest, until she too disappeared from his life, having left Japan altogether.

The lack of care had unfortunately made him lonely- since his father disappeared and his mother tended to disappear for days on end, he never gained any attachments to anyone in particular. The only solace he'd find is of his games and his novels, which he often buried himself into. Fortunately, his aunt and uncle acted as his parents, and loved him more than his mother ever did. The estrangement impacted him regardless, unfortunately, and so he struggled with gaining any friends, real or otherwise.

Meeting Gammamon: He was walking back home in the cold winter one day before he came into contact with the sudden appearance of Gammamon. Though scared of the triceratops at first, it- or rather, she- showed no harm even if her appearance made him think otherwise. In fact, it even seemed to be friendly with him. Regardless, not wanting to risk getting mauled by a random creature, he’d run away when he got the chance. Fortunately for him, the dino didn’t make chase. He was convinced that the monster was just a figure of his imagination…

Which unfortunately was debunked as not even a week later, she showed up peering through his window.

Slowly, he’d grow closer to the monster. He had learned that her name was Gammamon and that she believed they were fated to meet, being the first person she personally met in the real world. Gammamon even brought him random things, like trinkets and electronics that were dropped. The random gifts continued even as the snow started to melt, yet Gammamon didn’t show up- instead, it was a small teal lizard. Yukito’s was skeptic about the creature until it revealed that it was Gammamon. She had accidentally gotten into a fight with a wild Garurumon earlier but escaped, being knocked down a level and hiding until the Digimon left. However, she did bring another gift- a purple shard she found near the edge of the water. The shard would soon sink into his portable laptop and disappear when it made contact with it, turning it into his digivice.

Joining the Sol: Though concerned by this strange creature, Yukito had a bond forming with the creature. After a deep search through the internet, Yukito would learn about the existence of Digimon, as well as the Arcadium. He had hid the Digimon’s existence from his family, and due to those circumstances he was more moved towards bunking there. After deciding that he did not want to risk Gammamon being found out by the people, he would decide to join the Arcadium. Unfortunately, where Yukito lived was a few districts away from the Arcadium. Luckily, he lives near a train station, so his first arrival and subsequent recruitment was all thanks to said station. Nowadays he lives at the dorms, but makes sure to visit his aunt and uncle every now and then.

Yukito likes anything that tests his brain - puzzles, novels, etc.
Yukito likes small, cute things, which he tries to bottle it up in public. Despite this, he has an allergy to cats which bugs him out.
Yukito loves fantasy novels as well as mystery, but ironically has a fear of ghosts.
Yukito is an avid stargazer.
Yukito does not like his name and shortens it to Kito.
He does not like anything earthy in taste, but he will still try to eat it if he has no choice.

Gammamon is like a puppy- unconditionally loyal and a bit reckless. However, if she’s cornered she becomes timid and shy, unsure what to do. She forged a strong bond with Yukito and believes they were meant to be together, so she is very protective of her tamer.

Gammamon is bipedal like the rest of her species, but likes to walk on all fours.
Gammamon likes bringing random things like a cat does. Yukito gets the weirdest and most random things at times. Usually it’s random junk, but she sometimes brings back missing jewelry.
Hilariously, despite being based on an herbivorous dinosaur, Gammamon likes eating meat.
Her Babydmon being teal instead of green is because I based her colors off the sprite in Digimon World Championship .
