Shame that the photo is not well focused, but the colours in the plumage of the starling are beautiful!
(PS. I see this photo is added in the group AnimalIdentification. This is simply a common starling [Sturnus vulgaris]. Rainbow starlings don't exist.)

hehe yeah I know it's common, think someone just offered it to the group so acceted heh. Β Β The starling itself is mostly in focus, it was just so cute :> Β it's funny how many birds look plain unless in he right light.

That's very true - especially starlings are master of disguise here. They look pretty boring, until you notice the colorful sheen and the golden tips of their feathers. <3
Magpies also do have that sheen, although it is more obvious. But for corvids, they are often underrated.

Thanks, it's funny how many birds look so dull, pigeons, starlings, ravens unless you get the right light where their true colours come out :>
