Combination of Grumblemon and Gigasmon.I never watched Frontier - as far as I'm aware we never got further than tamers in England. Anyway, as with all series of Digimon, it annoyed me that all of the focus goes on a couple of major characters and the other characters pretty much become support cast.
In this series two of the characters got to combine the 'spirits' they had to make some kind of hybrid fusion. It would have been nice to see the others do this but they didn't. The other 4 characters' have 'Advanced Hybrid' forms (although they don't look as much like combinations as the other 2) and the other 4 sets of spirits didn't get these forms at all; so there's blank spots, hence this.

I won't be doing the others, at least not for a while - I have so much work at the minute, I just did this to destress after my main project.

Did you ever give this form a name? If not, what would you want it to be? And what about attack names and what they would be capable of doing? Sorry, I don't mean to come across as pushy or however you wish to describe it. Stuff like this just fascinates me; and it really pisses me off that they didn't further explore fusion evolution in the show and allow the other warriors to do it. Can anyone else aside from myself imagine how awesome that would've been? Just kidding, I know tons of people out there must think the same. Sorry if I ramble, I just wanted to throw my hat into the ring and show my appreciation, even if I often times do it in a drawn out way. Keep up the good work!

I didn't really name any of the Digimon I created because the naming conventions are kind of silly. If I were going to give it a name, I guess I'd go as simple as Gnomemon, after the earth elemental, for its Japanese name, and (if google translate got this right)Β Chikakumon for its English name. As far as attacks go, I imagine it separating and firing off the sections of its armour, punching its arms into the ground and creating giant stone arms to attack its enemy, and burrowing through the ground like a sandshark. Namewise, they would all be references to plate tectonics, but I'm not going as far as to come up with individual attack names.

I had thought about redesigning Grumblemon and Gigasmon for forms, imposing, and do something different in its hybrid by Evolution Double Spirit and the same with the legendary warriors of Wood, Metal, Water, and Darkness Corrupt ...

I've never seen Frontier either, and at first glance I looked at this and thought: "is that Mario on steroids...?!" even though when I actually LOOKED at it is clearly not the slightest bit that.

I kind of like the concept of it now - when I first heard of it I thought it sounded somewhere between ridiculous and disturbing so I wasn't bothered that we didn't get it here.

Yeah, they seem to be obsessed with dinosaurs and dragons, followed closely by wolves and dogs. I can remember at first everyone thought it was an abomination because they thought it was a cheap Pokemon rip-off.

Seems like Digimon should be ruling us, not the other way around. After all, they have all the human smarts but they can also WHOOP ASS. Humans can't do that... no claws, no teeth, no horns, no hide, etc... we send someone else (eg Digimon!) to do it for us.

I find the idea of a creature made of data horrible - it doesn't help when they get blown to dust in front of everyone on the show
The kids try to pretend they're nice but they casually witness murder, usually because of themselves, on what must be an hourly basis

I think they got recycled into digi-eggs but not until the world was purified. And I think in certain series there were ways in which they couldn't be reformated and remained dead forever. It's disturbed.
