Description Perspectives shift like tectonic plates passed family-style across the table runner. Butterflies bat their wings, touching their tongues to porcelain skin tasting nectar-sweet. Don’t touch the lava skipping under the street lamps. We flash our light-polluted smiles to the stars, they chuckle back at us. New eyes bud and bloom , blinking in my creased palms. Hues of green reverberate off my ribcage as I ride that gong-induced time wave towards infinity.
