Not bad. Kinda looks like a B-25, only smaller.

B-25 Mitchell was very close, altough it was larger than PZL-37B (length: 16 m against Elk's 13 m, wingspan 20 m against Elk's 18 m).

No, all were destroyed either during or shortly after war. There's only an engine in Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow.

1/72s are cheap and cost about 10-20 PLN (depending on course, 4 PLN are 1 to 2 USD), but their quality isn't very good. I bought this Elk for 12 PLN, excluding mail costs. The better model, in 1/48 scale (by Mirage) costs about ten times this, typically 100-150 PLN.

unrelated though, did the Polish air force use captured Stukas?

No, it would be too costly. Though I've heard of plans to reconstruct P.11c (I'm not sure if the one in Krakow is air worthy).

one thing though, what was the Polish equivalent of the Stuka?

We didn't have dive bombers, but PZL.23 Karas was sometimes used for attack from low altitude. It was to have modified version (PZL.42) with improved slots, twin tail and retracting bomb bay, for Stuka-like attacks, but it wasn't used in combat (only one was built and destroyed by German bombings).

Never an actual plane, but there were some prototypes, but only PZL.50 Jastrzab went off the board and into the prototype stadium. Probably PZL.56 Kania would be the closest one, since it used V-engine, as opposed to PZL.50's radial engine.

Yes, but unfinished and damaged (books fell on it and destroyed the wheels).

Never, though this 1/72 Panther in my gallery was initially ment to be the one captured by Warsaw insurgents and used against Germans (with white-and-red chessboard in the front).
