I love the face of Castiel, trying to save Dean. I agree with this vision of his rescue. Even if I like the others version, this one is more realistic.
And the way he saved Sam made me laugh so hard...!

So true!! I do find it interesting when people say that Cas saving Dean from Hell was probably all majestic and crap! But I can't help but think that Cas probably thought that this was a pain in ass!!! XD

Hey, sorry, can I cut in here? I hate when they say it's majestic too! I always counter with 'if it was so majestic and crap then Dean wouldn't have a handprint because Cas wouldn't of had to hang onto him tightly.' I don't know if that makes sense but in my head because Cas literally had to fight his way there and back, once he 'grabbed' Dean he had to hang onto him really tight so that all the other crap in hell wouldn't be able to take him back, hence the handprint. It's because that was how hard he had to keep his grip on Dean to pull him out.

True! Whenever I think about Cas pulling him out, I get a really weird picture of a bird carrying something that is too heavy for him and running away from a cat! I do think the idea of 'Sleeping Beauty' Dean is hilarious! And it would be hilarious if that was the way it happened! But I prefer the whole idea of Cas finding it really hard to get him out, because I think it also adds something to their friendship.

Yes! OMG! You are totally right! It totally does add to the relationship between them! And also, it would make more sense when in the show Cas admitted that him and Dean 'share a more profound bond' because he had to keep him close and stuff.

Yeah! I can imagine times when Cas would think that maybe none of this is worth it... But then remember that if he thought that way, then pulling Dean out of Hell and most likely beating the sh*t out of a bunch of Demons would have mean nothing to him, but obviously it does...

I think that Cas rescuing Dean from hell probably DID go something like that. I mean, he was just aΒ foot-soldierΒ angel, and I highly doubt he was powerful enough to just waltz out of hell without a scratch. Fighting for his life seems to make much for sense. XD
My favorite part of the S8 finale was actually when Metatron cast out Castiel...is that wrong? o_o
