Inspired by the books of Terry Goodkind. (Sword of Truth series)I heard a new book is coming out soon....so that demands a new painting!
Richard and Cara doing what they do best! Hope you like it!

Lovely drawing of those two, never really did think too heavily of how long the agiel's were, I thought they must be a bit shorter, but that's cause when I first read one described I was fairly young, (and Denna and Richards scene is AWESOME) but this definitely looks like it could be near the pillars of creation...or Mordor.

Very well done, the different reds are beautiful, and I like the way they're standing; it doesn't look like they're posing, just standing ready for whatever's next.

This...makes me so happy! I'm in the middle of Chainfire right now, but this is exactly what I imagined one of the scenes from Naked Empire to look like. So much bad-assery and Cara's leather is perfecto!

It's wonderful! I think Richard and Cara in this painting reflect very well the spirit of their characters described in the book by Terry. Even the background is gorgeous; I love how you did the fire.

nah, I didn't really have a specific scene in mind. I can't even remember what happened in chainfire to be honest

I have been wanting to do one of Nicci for awhile....but she was described as being so beautiful in the book I'm afraid I wont be able to do her justice.
I have a Jagang/Sister of the Dark painting I've been working on that I will hopefully post tonight. (No Nicci though) Be warned though....lots of nudity

aw lol s'okay. But yeah I wish i could draw Nicci more but I see her so clearly in my mind *like she is a 100% real person* that I want to DRAW her that way and I'm not at that level right now so I get frustrated because I feel people miss the wonderful character I see in my mind and why I adore her so much. So I think it's a common problem lol. Drawing Nicci takes hours for me because I drive myself crazy with every little detail particulary her eyes and set of her hair. -.- Nicci you better be glad I love you so much!

I feel the same way. I see the way I think she should look in my head, but I just dont think I can pull it off properly, so I dont do it. One day I'll bite the bullet and get some courage! I do love a challenge though......hmm....

ahaha aw sorry! lol but yeah Nicci does that to me all the time and I get killer headaches because she is THE MOST complex character I have ever known. ug but I love her to death she is very special and dear to my heart so it's worth it for her.
