Lavie embraces the new day ahead whilst Claus is still trying to eat breakfast. ^__^These two are my favourite characters from one of my all-time fav animes, Last Exile. They grew up together in the series, and are almost like sister and brother. They're vanship pilots by livelihood. Very very cool stuff. Best designed series I've ever seen too.
T'is my first piece done on OpenCanvas. I think I really like this program, it's so uncomplicated to use. Linework and colours done completely in OC. I'm using version 1.1, and am very happy with the results so far.

Excellent drawing!
I love the clean lineart and the soft, warm, and very clear coloring; it matches the original art of the characters very well. I like the expressions on their faces - they seem very much in character for Claus and Lavie. The goggles flying off and the coffee spilling out are nice little touches.
Wonder what Lavie's looking at so happily? Makes me think of nice little stories for them... Great work!

I love Last Exile. I keep trying to get other people to watch it, but they just blow it off as another overrated anime! I love how well the characters are designed, and how they use every single one that's introduced at some later point in the anime. It's awsome that way. Great picture, really shows the characters!
