Happy Inktober!!

This is the first year I am doing Inktober. I've tried in the past, but ink-only art makes me so nervous--your drawings are really naked feeling like this My line work is messy and is only getting messier, the forms I draw are very weak--so that is my goal to become stronger at my line work this month! (It doesn't help that one of my most important inking pens just died but... I'll work around it )

I'm going to be drawing my favorite OC, "Cat" (her nickname) who appears in my book I am working on. (I'm writing up draft #4!) She's a dear and you'll come to love her too. I first drew her about nine or eight years ago. Maybe I will make some redraws for my Inkotobers! I have way too many drawings of these characters I have never shared but that's because I'm so hush hush about this project. She will be our little mascot for the big mystery that is my book. Her twin brother with most likely make an appearance too because how can I he not?

Another challenge is this character is a kid, eight years old. I clearly can't draw kids and they end up looking much older than they are--so that's what I'm working on this month!
I will only be posting Inktobers until the end of the month. I will not be posting my normal photography and drawings since I'll be busy with this. I will be posting commission pieces and writing weeklies of course.
