Description Look who's back!!

The Star Wars Weekly panels have resumed! Look out for them in a galaxy near you

When I first saw episode 7 back in theaters , I could not help but tease it... a lot and make comparisons. I always imagine Kylo working so hard to impress Vader and he is just like "What have you done??!!?!" Anyways, enjoy and let my randomness just happen

Star Wars Weeklies are posted every Friday.

Want to see more? here are the other 10! :www.deviantart.com/evangeline4…

I love Kylo's "So BIG!".

AS awesome as the movie was, the Starkiller weapon always stretched my suspension of disbelief....

....a planet hollowed-out into a Death Star and sucks energy from nearby (as in right there) stars....from a geological, gravitational and astronomical standpoint, it makes absolutely no sense.

Nobody would be walking around the surface! It would be a LOT colder than a perpetual winter! Gravity would be wonky and it would take CENTURIES to build!

I know it's a sci-fi fantasy but at least make some nods to scientific verisimilitude!

MY version of Starkiller would make more sense....

  • Three parts: The Main Starkiller Planet/Base, A probe that travels through space to collect star stuff and a third probe that shoots.
  • The Starkiller Collector teleports to a star many light years away and sucks it dry.
  • The star energy is transported (in broadcast fashion with quantum mechanics or something) to a massive energy-storage source on Starkiller Base.
  • Said energy is broadcast to the shooting probe that teleports to the target.

....It's not 100% scientifically accurate but it's more believable and the planet can still become a new star in the end.

It truly doesn't make sense! That whole section of the movie I truly just cut out of my memory haha it was so unbelievable and the fact that it was so incredibly easy to destroy too was a little ridiculous.

Yes, it could have been a really cool space station but space station only (plus collector) thing to transport entire fleets. I agree, yeah! And it's only use was to destroy corescant, pretty much uprooting anything about the prequels which I think had a lot of potential to give some balance to the politics side of things but no, just erased instead.

It didn't blow up Coruscant. It blew up the Hosnian System. Coruscant's fine.

I've been planing on creating an alternate fanfic version of the New Trilogy that still follows the general canon but with a number of changes and tweaks.

One thing that bugs me about the new trilogy is the tendency to waste potentially cool characters.

Phasma was wasted. I liked the Guavians and Kanjiklub. I want more D.J., etc.

My Alt-Trilogy would expand some character roles.

And Starkiller would be like the idea I proposed.

There's an even bigger flaw. How do you aim that thing? It's a planet! Also, the Death Stars didn't rely on an external power source.

I never even thought of that! Haha, yeah that's a bit crazy lol. Even thinking about how it drew its power, how would a planet have more pull then a star? In order to take that power? Hmm.. you will have me thinking on this for a while my friend.

They never learned from Empire - which built two death stars and both were destroyed, first to design flaw and second because was incomplete and Super star destroyer which was also destroyed by ramming tiny A-wing into unshielded bridge - So they hawe now entire planet acting as battle station and 60 kilometers wide Mega star destroyer and repetitive history which including destryoing large space superstructures by ramming smaller ship into it or shooting it from inside. Resistance just can use again the tactics which they learned from Rebels and Galactic ciwil war, it looks like suicidal ramming became wery popular maneuver after battle of Scarif.

But I must admit, scene , where Amylin Holdo set MC-85 cruiser to hyperspace ram, stopped my breath and left Me speechless for a while, entire cinema just went totally quiet for few seconds.

If we can speak about spherical battle-stations , in the cannon the first official target for first Death star was Fortressa a Lucrehulk, which was originally used by Trade federation back in clone wars era.It was slawaged by Rebels and repurposed as carrier, plan goes well until rebels realized the death was allready capable of fire. First came out numreous X-wing squadrons , those had big advantage against tie fighters defending the Death star, then Death star fired. Fortressa was destroyed in one shot, rest of rebel fleet escaped battlefield. Third smaller death star was stationed on orbit of Coruscant and was destroyed by the same tactics like the first one. Another prototype consisting only upper half was stationed as testbed in science installation in location called as "Maw" , this location was sorrounded by numerous black holes and was nearly impossible to navigate through safely.
Also one Hutt crime lord had enough resources to build a superweapon based on plans of Death star, but main weapon malfunctioned and entire ship was destroyed by asteroids.
A superlaser, weapon from imperial Death stars was also installed on Eclipse class super star destroyer, however Eclipse not reached dimensions and power capacity of death star , this ship was able to fire only two shots per day.

Kylo: Except A. It can take out an entire solar system. B. It has a shield with the generator INSIDE the planet. You’d have to travel at hyperspace to get through and to turn it off, you’d have to capture an officer and make him or her turn it off. And it will take a lot more than two proton torpedoes to make it blow up.
