just want to tell you - the other day i made a birthday cd for my sister and took a small paper print of this painting of you as a cover - well, she looked at the picture and hesitated - yes, for a moment she had thought it was rebecca and zwiebel, haha...

what a stunning similarity... we used to have a dachshund who was run over by a car, when rebecca asabout three - sheΒ΄s ten now, but still misses that dog... well, now she has "ziebel" (=onion), a chihuahua-yorkshire mix - and she loves her and cuddles with her just like your kerri anne in this painting - well done...

Thank you. My dachshund died at age 10 of a heart attack in the spring right after a visit to the vet. We still have our chihuahua.Β

we have two completely different chihuahua/yorkshire mixes - they are half sisters from the same mama, but half a year different in age - one is light with a fluffy fur and likes to stay at home and the other is brown and black with short hair and loves to go out with us on adventures, even in thick snow she doesnΒ΄t hesitate to accompany us...
btw. i had never thought that i ever would love dogs like these, but now i know what a big heart and soul they have - adorable...

They sound so cute! I got my pure chihuahua from a shelter. He came from down south and was so thin,had to be fed 4xday. He is fine now but does not like the cold and wears coats.Β

I had a dachshund too for 14,6 years. he was my best friend ever and I still miss him so much that I can't even think taking a new dog.

Thanks for all the favs, appreciate it. I know how you feel. My first dachshund died of cancer at 14. The one I have now is 9, and it is one my son didn't want so he dropped him off at my house.
