Wulfi — Pony eye

Description Shot this while we (my class) were on a farm to chop down trees to make a bigger area for these ponies. As a horse lover, some of my time was naturally spent photographing these ponies.

This one had a glass eye (at least that's what we call it in Norway when they have blue eyes), which made it a little special

I love the gruffiness of his coat and then the pure, clean contrast of his eye--he looks interested, excited. This is a lovely shot.

how cute he is!!! I love horses with this big blazes (you call it lantern in German...). Is it an Icelandic horse?

Lantern - it sounds familiar. I think that's what it is called in Norway sometimes too, and we also call it "kubles" = "cow blaze" I'm not sure if she (?) is an Icelandic or not.. She was only this big (the red one (in winter coat and all)) when I saw her, so I'm not sure. Perhaps you can tell?

ok... I think it´s no Icelandic. Now that I saw him/her in full view Perhaps it´s a Shetland Pony. But whatever it is, it´s very cuuuuute

Tanta (?) til en venn av meg fikk en dartpil i øye som barn, og går nå med glassøye. Men det var litt merkelig å se det på et menneske
