Description
This was a request by the Fanfiction.net writer Evoshinobikaiserknight; of Noctis and Ruby standing together - new King and Queen of Lucis. I have a feeling it's going to be a part of his story sooner or later, but we'll see. It took quite a while to draw this; from the poses, to the faces, clothes, weapons, shading, and the title, but I was glad I did this and I hope he likes it.
Noctis is standing in his suit and cloak, with his father's sword in his hand - the Sword of the Father. Ruby is standing next to him with a new Royal attire on, and Crescent Rose in it's original form in her hands. I wanted to give Ruby a more Royal look, but still attain her gothic look of black, red, and white; so I took a few looks between her Vol. 1-3, Vol. 4, and the "Henceforward AU" Ruby to get an idea of what to draw, and I originally wanted to give Crescent Rose a new design in terms of engraving, but I thought it would be too difficult to draw, so it's still in it's original look.
