Description [makes another tsuna AU] HELP ME

A Fem!Tsuna! Since the point was 'what if KHR starred a female protagonist', I had to restructure her personality and appearance; the entire point of the series was that Tsuna is a collection of traits that are undesirable in men (scrawniness, not handsome, not visibly manly enough, cowardly, a layabout, can't make up his mind, unintelligent, no aspirations, terrible coordination). Stuff like being bad at studying, clumsiness, cowardice, and fretfulness are all traits that are often forgiven in young girls, so I just had to scrap half of it.

As a female protagonist, she's very unremarkable-looking, a slob, has a very low-energy and lazy personality, doesn't favour cute things or makeup, acts very brazen and abrupt when frightened, and has no skill in feminine hobbies. Just a base rate of things that aren't favoured in the 'feminine ideal'.

Her character arc is a bit more...constructive than canon!Tsuna's? Teenage girls are always under a lot of pressure. I notice that characters always start in on Tsuna trying to get him to be 'manlier', but stop focusing on it the longer they're exposed to him (excluding his father). While that is nice, Tsuna isn't really under overwhelming social pressure to be manly, and the 'manly ideal' is fulfilled with the HDW mode anyway. It's not really efficient as a character arc story. Meanwhile, being efficient and cool and powerful doesn't make a girl anymore...ungirly. It just makes her awesome. And that is the story we NEED.

Her Terrible Pun Nickname is Yuutsuna (Yuutsu (gloomy/meloncholy) + Tsuna). Her name uses the same kanji as canon Tsuna's (which means rope, line, or cord when read that way; when read as 'kou', it typically refers to the main subject, general outline, the focus of a topic. The More You Know.)

She is like, super, super gay for Kyoko.

Just like every other Tsuna I write, she's DMAB (Designated Male At Birth) & intersex. It's my headcanon and there's no feasible reason to change it just because she's a girl

I have to admit, I've been working on a female OC for a while now (before I ever saw this awesomeness) for this series that shares a lot of these traits, but I just love that you gave them to Tsuna! I like this version of Tsuna-chan more than my own character now. I'd love to see Yuutsuna in action.

Is there a story written for this Tsuna-chan yet?

AHhhhhh, omg, this is, like, perfect! And pretty realistic. I'd really like to see an AU with this kind of Fem!Tsuna haha. Ahhhh, I wonder how it would all work tho'... would she still be friendly with Kyoko, maybe? /hums

Either way, I can see her having a crush on Kyoko, for sure! Haha~~ <3

Wait, studying skills are forgiven in girls? Really?
Perhaps it's because I have a different culture, but I didn't think girls get forgiven when they are bad at studying. 0_0

I meant as an 'appeal point'; girls can still be charming and bad studiers, because of the infantilization of women in modern culture. I mean, fem!Tsuna is still a bad studier, but it's not as key.
