I don't know if snails should be classified as insects or animals?This little fella was slipping his way over the letterbox.
He was a good little poser.

1- Insects are animals...
2- Snails are not insects, that's for sure...
But this is beautiful... but I don't see it as a wild animal...

Snails are in phylum Mollusca, and class Gastropoda.
Insects are in the phylum Arthropoda, and are in the class Insecta.

This is going to sound very nerdy but I am a college student so .... Snails are in the kingdom Animalia. So yes insects count as Animals.
