it looks very nice, especially if you really didn't use your finger (or anything else for that matter) to blend or smooth. But even if you did, it looks very much like a photograph. It stand out when you find it on the page and is very striking. very nice work.

Thanks dear, but I'm not good enough with Photoshop to do portraits. Haven't you ever airbrushed? Or seen people do it? It's a steady spray of lead that results in smoothness.
Or, since Tim's studio charges $45 an hour, you can do the rub and smooth technique, layer by layer. It's much more time consuming, but it saves you a lot of money.
