This is Daxian, though is almost always called by his shortened name Dax. I do adore him and his design.

Dax is proficient at stealth, and is Fayd's eyes and ears on the other tribes in the city, and the gangs. Dax is also Fayd's first warning if another power base is going to attack them, and is the first to alert Fayd of any potential new recruits for their tribe. So while he is incredibly important and helpful to Fayd's tribe, he is rarely seen in Fayd's tribe as he is always spying on the other tribes and gangs or on the streets. Daxian does end up mating to Shiri, more so out of obligation then anything else. However, he fell in love with Fayd's chosen mate, Octavia. He was both ecstatic and scared when she returned the same affection. Knowing that she was meant for Fayd and that Fayd would never give him permission to become Octavia's mate; Daxian and Octavia chose to have a secret affair. This was bound to come out eventually, when Octavia inevitably became pregnant. When she gave birth, it was clear to the Healers, Fayd and Octavia that Fayd was not the father of her child. Dax did catch a glimpse of his daughter before it was discovered that he was the father and that he and Octavia had been meeting up secretly. Fayd kills Daxian for this transgression, and Octavia loses her status as Fayd's mate as well as all the perks that came along with it.
