Oh, I love this picture soooo much! The tones and those trees before the abandoned tower... So damn cool!When I took this shot was happening a sun eclipse, and there was lot of powerful wind all around, with lot of dust all around and I was absolutely alone. Temperature went down pretty fast to 37 ΒΊF (3 ΒΊC) plus the wind and the night I guess it was even less. I couldn't ride the bicycle I rented because the force of the wind, so I had to walk in the middle of the night for 4,34 miles (7 Km).
Such a good adventure!

Uh yeah... and when it comes for a sun eclipse, even weirder. I've been there when it was one, on October 2010, just in the sunset. The feeling was a weird mix of fear, expectation, freedom and happiness. Somehow, the temperature came down from around 20 ΒΊC to around 3 ΒΊC in something like 5 minutes due a very fast wind that it came as well. The town around 7 Km away, and lot of dust going at that moment; it was almost impossible to walk due the wind and dust, and the sun being ate by the moon... It was creepy and exiting

This is ridiculously creepy in an outstanding kind of way. The contrast in the tones of the trees in the foreground is perfect. The blowing sand gives a bit of a foggy look to the background. The tower looks like it belongs on top of cake celebrating Tim Burtons new movie.

That's what I like about you. You are not afraid of a little hard work and adventure to get a good photo. 
I like the way you didn't sharpen the tower. The slight blur gives the image depth and invites the viewer to look further and further into it. Makes the viewer want to go over to that tower and discover what its story is. I really like the texture of the trees as well. One thing I would have done is cropped it a little more to the right, so it's a little less central and the eye could mover easily from the main focus of the trees and tower, over to the right and into the blurry distance.
A well captured image that has not been ruined by too much work in photoshop.
