I remember that dayI held my cousins arm
So not to fall.
I remember Sian crying
As she read aloud her poem.
I remember the prints
Left on the coffin when
I touched it's cold surface.
I remember the boquets
I remember the family
I remember the pictures
The walls, the tilt to the floor.
How I wish I could forget
How I wish I didn't remember
Her funeral.

great capture. i really love the way the rays of the sun come through the sky, like they're fighting to get in. i would have loved to see this in color. beautiful poem as well...very sad.
