Description I think this will be my last Na'vi for a while. It's been fun, but I don't want to get burned out on it. We'll see. This render took about 10 hours, so my next one will use less reflective surfaces. I think the windows added greatly to the render time.
Also, I originally used a different texture for her shirt, but after a long render, there was a pit of poke-through that didn't show up on the low-res renders, so I went back to using the basic texture. I'll supply the list of props later.

I decided to make her blonde because fashionable Na'vi will be living in more of a tech based world and won't have as much need for their ponytail bio-interface thing.

Thank you

I was going to take a break from the Avatar theme, but this pic has had a pretty good response. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Thank you!

This one took a while to render, but it was worth it. It's all about Indirect Lighting!

Nice. At first glance, I thought this was a person in a mask and lycra bodysuit. One question, though. Isn't that braid thing a tentacle? If so, where is the fleshy bit hidden? If not, please disregard.

Thanks!

I've been kicking around the idea of what to do with the ponytail. I'm operating under the assumption that it was a long braid with bio-threads that will grow back if cut.
My thought was that since we destroyed their world tree, we would help with some nation rebuilding because we still need the "unobtanium". As a result of our efforts, many of them would opt to get away from the "organic" life they once knew in favor of a more tech based life.
They would cut their braids, live in a city, and drink Starbucks like the rest of us. Every so often, they'll take a trip to the country to "get back to their roots".

That's my story, anyway
