Description
So, two weeks back at school, and I'm already on edge from crazy, angry-making projects, one of which involved massive ammounts of spaghetti and much swearing, and the other which involved...well, also swearing, but speed-sketching to a wacky degree. On top of which I have my freelance job on Halloween Man, and a general feel of "Gah, I'm so lonely...should go out...see friends...AH, projects!!!!" So...

But as of today, the two wackier projects are done, leaving HM, and some sketchbook excercises (and an environment study-thing also, but I'll worry about that later. Much much later...) to worry about. Well, and cleaning my room, which just got messier and messier as I focused on projects and sleeping.

So my brain basically told me "DO A DRAWING FOR YOURSELF OR I'LL SNAP! And not one of those crappy, 2 AM sketches either! PLAY WITH LIGHT!" And since Ulti!Toad got brought to my attention due to a ridiculously cute icon, that's what I did.

Not so much playing with light, really. I wanted to be all precises with this (I always want to, and never am), but I had to acknowledge that it was just a midnight-3AM sort of thing that I wasn't going to worry about over-much. Just something nice to loosen up and feel like me again.

I've gotta get Ultimate X-men volume 1... I couldn't remeber a thing about what Genosha looked like, nor am I quite sure why there's a convient, castle-like window, since I do remember the buildings being very modern/future-ish, but oh well. Just Mort, sometime prior to UX#1, having a quiet smoke in the moonlight, probably contemplating how things seem to be screwing up slowly but surely, how the people closest to him seem to be moving away (....okay, that's a fanfic thing...), and wondering what's gonna happen next.

...I really want to do a fanfic of Scott and Mort becoming friends. It always bothered me that something that radical is simply told to us, but prior to Scott leaving, we never see any reason or hint. Just "Oh, yeah, boy scout is best friends with one of the more callous, kill-happy members of the Brotherhood, even though boy-scout betrayed 'em, and they call each other up and gab like pre-teens...."
Still cool. Just...would've liked a bit more....

...something must be done about that boy's fashion sense...
