Abilities:
Enhanced Senses
Being half Vampire, Issei pretty much have enhanced senses. So he's quick to react to most stuff and it's pretty useful. However, his heightened senses aren't as perfect as a pure Vampire's so it has it's limitations too.

Regeneration
Issei can automatically heal when wounded. Though he has one flaw. When wounded, his regenerative speed is rather slow, and while wounded, he'd continue to bleed out which could be rather fatal. One way to speed up recovery is if he drinks fresh blood.

Vampire Venom
When biting to suck the blood out of someone, Issei can let out some kind of venom. The typical one that all vampire techically has is allowing the victim to feel pleasure rather than pain when bitten. But these venom can have other side properties aside from that as well. In Issei's case, he is able to put someone in a temporary paralysis for only a short period of time since he's only half a vampire. So it isn't that powerful. Plus, Issei isn't one to bite people so doesn't really use this unless he really needs to.

No he's not able to turn into a bat, though he wish he could.

History:
Born a Dhampir to a Vampire father and human priestess mother, Issei grew up decent and loved by his parents. Inheriting his fathers intelligence, he was able to understand most things quite at an early age. At the age of 3, Issei was gifted with a servant. A cursed doll caretaker named Juliette to take care of him whenever his mother could not. Issei grew attached to her and when he turned 6, he developed a huge crush on her. Learning that she wanted emotions, Issei did all in his power to help her even as to steal some curse books from his father. Issei did. He founded a way to give her emotions. But a price had to be paid in return. All memories of Issei and everything else was erased from Juliette as if she had never met him. This upsets Issei a whole lot that it hurts him when he was forgotten. Issei ended up avoiding her, though he was happy for her for gaining emotions. One day, a lost noble werewolf came to the inn. Upon his stay, took a liking to Juliette. Issei noticed this and saw how Juliette had taken a liking to him too. The noble asked if he could buy her off them. Julian didn't want to at first until Issei was like "Whatever, just sell her for all I care." And Julian did. Juliette, who somehow felt guilty with Issei, gave him a parting gift. An onyx necklace that she highly treasures.

A few days after the noble werewolf left with Juliette, Issei went to bury the book he stole from his father along with the onyx necklace he got from Juliette. He burried it at the end of the graveyard. After he did so, to vent out his frustrations, Issei went for a little hike on the mountains. Going there helped him cleared his mind a little. And it was also then when he first met Tamotsu. Issei decided to have a chat with him and ended up offering a place for him to stay. But before all the negotiations, Issei actually offered to help end Tamotsu's life seeing how miserable he was. After Tamotsu was patched up and given a new look, Issei basically had Tamotsu be his new friend and companion of sorts. At the age of 7, Issei's parents encountered some difficulty and was quite in a pinch. A difficulty in regards to Julian's past. Just in case and to protect Issei from any possible harm, his parents sent him to live with his uncle and aunt in the city. Understanding the situation, Issei complied.

Living in the city, Issei grew up most amongst humans and a few half-humans like himself. As he aged, he came to understand more about the feuds between the living beings. Though he never discriminated, and he treated everyone equally. Of course, since he is mostly human in appearance, almost none of the city dwellers knew that he was only half-human. Life was pretty much normal for him. At school, Issei wasn't really the centre of attention. He would usually have his presence lay low. He didn't want to attract any attentions much, though at times, it can't be avoided. At age 15, he developed a one sided crush on a very beautiful guy; one of his seniors from school. His name was Yun. Turns out this guy was half blue Pheonix hence the beautiful appearance. Issei hung out with him lots. They were close. But before either could confess to the other, Yun's family was being hunted down and they were forced to move away abruptly. This saddened Issei yet again, his second love leaving. Though in Yun's case, no goodbyes were said.

Going to school and such, Issei developed a love for books and literature. Aspiring to become a novelist, he took up literature and language in college. He even managed to get himself a girlfriend. She was a vampire named Ophelia. Life was great and all was well for him until he was tricked into an unspeakable situation by a friend he thought he could trust, a half-human such as himself. To get out of debt, this so called friend of Issei sold him to some underground groupie. He was drugged, tortured, toyed, and mostly experimented with for almost a month. And he was almost sold off again to some Vampire hunters too. Some people even questioned Issei's disappearance after a week. But nobody knew or was able to track him down. The so called friend that tricked him, disappeared completely. Fortunately, Issei was able to escape when one of their newbie lackeys forgot to drug Issei at one point. With his strength and abilities returned, he took the opportunity and fled.

After the incident, Issei took some time off to recover from the trauma. He dropped out of college and locked himself in his apartment for almost 3 months without leaving, partially worrying his family members and what actual close friends he had. He had an internal breakdown and went through a self loathing period. He even broke up with Ophelia, even when Ophelia refused to and wanted to help him. Issei still drove her away not really wanting to drag her down with him. The bad guys who tortured him were all captured and punished with the help of Julian and his connections. When Issei finally cleared his mind and sorted his mind, he finally left his apartment. Though he did, the only place he would frequent to was a bar near the red light district. Going there back and forth to the bar at night, he ended up working there in a bar as a bartender. A year later, he was scouted to become a host. He accepted the job just because of the high pay. That and he was basically persuaded into working as one by a persistent club owner, in which Issei declined him for 2 months before giving in and accepting his offer. Eventually, Issei came to enjoy working as a host after a while. In a short period of time, he became quite popular there not only towards the guests, but also towards the other hosts and hostess working there. Even those from other shops and clubs. His work as a host was strictly on a platonic level. He decided to not get in a serious relationship with anyone until he knows for sure that said person could be trusted and is the one suited and meant for him. That 1 month incident did a tol on Issei and he basically developed trust issues.

Upon hearing his parents death a couple years later, Issei left for the countryside with his aunt and uncle for the wake and funeral. Tamotsu and Orfeo were left in charge of taking care of the Inn after the incident happened. Orfeo, Julian's familiar, handed Issei, Julian's will as well as the deed to the Inn. After reading through his father's will and the deed, Issei decided to inherit the Inn. Though not immediately. Issei left Tamotsu and Orfeo in charge again and went back to the city. While he was there, he issued the Inn to be remodelled slightly before he finally moves back there. That, and so the capacity of guest could be increased. However, Issei needed money for materials for the renovation. With his own money and his father's will, it was more than enough. However, he wanted to safe the money, so he decided to look for a risky alternative. Issei quit his job as a host and went on a little short travel to find and acquire certain things for the Inn. And one of them, ended up being a soul pact which no one knows exactly of other than Tamotsu and Orfeo. When the remodelling was done, and when he acquired what needed to be acquired, Issei finally moved back to Jusanya Inn and settled there as the new owner and landlord.

NOW...
Though he may not look it, Issei was both angry and upset when his parents died. Deep down, he wanted to avenge them but couldn't. All he knew was that Vampire hunters kill them both. Thing is, Issei's current room was originally the Inn founder's study and later his father's. That room was heavily guarded from guest by Orfeo previously before Issei claimed the room. Of course, after claiming it and it's contents, Issei ended up finding some journals in which were clues to the vampire hunter clan that killed his parents. That, and there is also a heavily sealed coffin his father left which even Issei couldn't unseal. Whatever it is inside, Issei could only guess it was personal belongings of his father and or the Inn's founder. Orfeo may know though he doesn't really comply to whatever Issei says as he would only obey Julian's orders 97% of the time, even in death. The coffin aside, Issei decided to dig deeper into this vampire hunter clan. As he look up on the list of kills aside from his parents, the name of his ex-girlfriend even showed up and it was dated that he death was half a year ago. Of course, this angered him more. Knowing it was basically a suicide mission for him, he decided to hunt down these hunters to avenge them. Keeping EVERYTHING regarding this a secret from everyone at the Inn. Even Orfeo and Tamotsu.
And little does Issei know, trouble from both his maternal and paternal sides are about to haunt him.
