Right off the bat, what I admire most about this piece is the technique. Every single paint stroke makes the hair look as if it is real, like you can just stroke your hand through it. I also love how realistic the coat looks. Many drawings forget that coats have hair, too. I must commend you for remembering that. The same goes for the… ear hair (or at least that's what I think it is). Lastly, I don't know why, but I really like how she is sticking her tongue out towards the viewer. It's almost like she's taking a wacky selfie! As for criticisms, i would say that Twilight could be given a little more head room, which would allow the horn to be extended a little, for I must admit that it does appear to be too short. In addition, I would spread out the sparkles more on her mane, rather than keeping them in a straight line. Lastly, if you're going to blend the background, you should probably do it more towards the middle instead of three fourths to the right. Aside from that, however, I think this is a really nice portrait of Twilight. I enjoy how saturated the colors are, and I especially admire how silly Twilight appears to be. Just a few touch ups here and there and it'll be good as gold. But still, this is a very strong illustration. Keep up the amazing work, xbi!

I cant understand this most interesting piece - "if you're going to blend the background, you should probably do it more towards the middle instead of three fourths to the right". Are you talking about horizontal position in image frame imgur.com/3eat2lT Blend background with what?
PS. Always check symmetry in reviewed works! This face have problems with eyes symmetry, I find out it quite long after publishing, and it spoils the cuteness of face.

Yes! That's what I'm talking about. Have the colors blend more towards the center. Also, I did want to say something about the eyes, because they did look a little odd, especially the left one, but I figured that it wasn't really worth commenting on. But it's a good thing that you recognize the error. And you're welcome! It's always a pleasure to offer insight!

Nice. Different sort of art style. Looks sort of like a sculpture. Good, subtle shading and well-placed detail.
The background has a good contrast to Twi's colors and I enjoy the bizarre look on her face. Sparkles are a nice touch too. Now that I think about it, that might have been what made me think of a sculpture. A glossy statue can have a few shiny spots like that. And probably the other thing that made me think of a statue was the blunted edges of the hair curls.
It also looks very much like an oil painting or acrylic painting to me, which is probably hard to emulate on a tablet (I saw it was a digital painting). I'm sort of a newbie to tablets, though, so I don't really know.
